BIG DAY – Moorhead Baptist Church

Hyles-Anderson College graduate, Pastor John Roloson of Moorhead Baptist Church in Moorhead, Minnesota, is grateful for the opportunity to earn matching funds toward the purchase of a new bus. The bus captain and workers of their church’s bus route are excited and working diligently to fill all 77 seats on the bus on their big day scheduled for February 22, 2026. Their highest bus attendance from this past year was 55 riders, and their goal of 77 riders would be a 40% increase! This would exceed the “Big Day” criteria as outlined by the Bus Ministry Network:

BIG DAY – Exceed last year’s Big Day attendance and earn up to $8,000 in matching funds from the BUS MINISTRY NETWORK toward the purchase of a new bus.

-  5% attendance increase = 50% matching funds

- 10% attendance increase = 60% matching funds

- 15% attendance increase = 70% matching funds
